Sutter Creek Theater
The historic Sutter Creek Theater, originally a silent film theater, is now a multi-purpose venue that hosts events year-round. Retaining the original theater seating and Art Deco ceiling, the theater features concerts from regional to international award-winning artists, films and so much more. The theater comfortably sits 214 people and is renowned for its acoustics.

T.G.I.F Summer Concert Series
The Amador Arts Council sponsors weekly free concerts at fantastic venues throughout Amador County. There are nine FREE concerts starting at 6pm on Friday evenings from mid-June to late August. To find out what's coming up for next year, visit Amador Arts.

 

Live Theater
There are two theater companies in Amador County. The Volcano Theater Company offers an indoor and outdoor theater space in the tiny town of Volcano. Whether it's the intimate indoor setting of Cobblestone Theater or its lovely outdoor amphitheater, you can be rest assured there's a crowd waiting to see its five performances throughout the year. Amador Arts
For more than 30 years, the Amador County Arts Council has worked as a nonprofit public benefit organization to nurture the cultural vitality of our area. A large number of professional visual and performing artists make their home here. The Amador Art Trek is every second Saturday and is a great way to gallery hop and meet local artists.
